Shona Easton Studio

Hello! I established my design studio in 1996, having previously worked for many large UK & European high street stores.  I now have over 21 years experience in every aspect of accessory design, from luggage & leathergoods to hats, gloves, scarves, belts & jewellery.  I studied Fashion at Kingston Polytechnic, a course that I would highly recommend (if you're tough)!
 
After college I found my first job in London as Accessory Designer for Carolynne Read Accessories. I then moved to S. Root and Co. which allowed me to develop my skills as a jewellery designer.
 
International Fashion retailer Esprit offered me a chance to work abroad with lots of Far Eastern travel thrown in - who would say no to that! I worked in Amsterdam for just over a year before returning to Britian to become Design & Marketing Manager for Salisburys, then the UK's largest retailer of travel goods and fashion accessories. In 1994 I moved to Shilton PLC as Senior Designer & Range Developer for Jane Shilton leathergoods and in 1996 I set up my own studio.
 
In 2002 I launched the Shona Easton label and I work mainly on my own brand now. In the past 15 years my client list has included: Next, Debenhams, BHS, House of Fraser, Banana Republic, M&S and Dents PLC.
 
I am a national executive committee member for the BTAA (British Travelgoods and Accessories Association) and I am also involved with the British Glove Association - writing the brief for the annual student competition and judging the awards.
